'NCIS' : New Orleans

Another episode I enjoyed.
Coming on strong do they still have Southern accents? I kind of enjoy the way NCIS is morphing into NCIS NOLA, they have a medical examiner that is sort of a combination of Ducky and Abbey. A wheelchair bound Tim and a Geek that is Abbey.

Don´t yo mean NCIS NOLA into NCIS ?

I have to admit that I wasn´t much impressed in the first couple of episodes, but I guess it started to win me, Brody I like, Bakula I think has lost that fake accent, the fast and furious guy, well at least he´s from Alabama and can pull out the accent.
I like the M.E. and the other characters.
Brody is tough and hot IMO. :D, plus there´s no Bishop.

So, now I watch NCIS and NCIS NOLA, but NCIS LA, just didn´t work for me.

I watch all three. I admit I bashed NCIS NOLA especially Bakula's feeble attempt at an accent but as you said its growing on me too. What I do here is watch the CBS line up on Tuesday and then at 11 immediately watch my DVR'd Agents of Shield. Still kinda pissed at that show though since Lola is still MIA. :oldwink

It has been better than I thought it would be but do agree the accents need alot more work on and they should get Abbey to work with them since she is from there!! :)

Since they have had lots of people from the DC team on, I'm still waiting for Callen & Sam to make an appearance in NOLA. Something to tie all 3 shows together. If NBC can do it with Chicago Fire, PD & SVU this week I think CBS should do the same.

I agree with NCIS & NCIS NOLA they make a good Tues. night. NCIS LA just has too much needless violence too much automatic weapon fire and way too many things blowing up. The other two NCIS's are successful without the excessive violence.

That Brody is a good agent.
The scene when she opened the hotel room door, reminded me about a recent episode on NCIS.
This show as compared to NCIS, appears to be more serious in the sense that it isn´t too much concerned about funny scenes, or sentimental/sexual tension sub-plots, etc., well at least so far.

It is definitely developing into a good replacement for NCIS LA.

I think I was too hasty to criticize the show when it started, but I´ve tried it and after what is it now? 8 episodes, I´m pretty much satisfied with it.
I also tried NCIS LA, but that one just didn´t work for me. And every now and then I´ve tried giving it another chance, but I can´t go more than watching about the first 5 minutes.

Since you say the show might be worth it to you , I might give it a try and binge watch the older episodes and catch up and see if I was too hasty in my judgement. But honestly if I can't get past the fake accents , I might have to reconsider.

If that happens, I won´t blame you for that :D

I think (or I haven´t noticed it really) that Bakula has ditched the phony accent. The other guy, (the fast and furious one) I don´t even know his character´s name or his real name, still uses the accent.
Lucky for me, Brody doesn´t need a fake accent.

It's actually Lucas Black's real accent. He's an Alabama boy and comes by it naturally.

But yeah, since Bakula dumped the phony accent, and the producers stopped shoehorning in crossover characters from NCIS, the show has gotten a lot better.
