NBC Universal is partnering with Sony Computer Entertainment America to offer Universal Studios Home Entertainment movies and NBC Universal television shows on the PlayStation Network.
The films and TV programs will be available for purchase via download on PlayStation3 and PSP systems in the U.S.

Among the television titles that will be available the day after they air are “The Office,” “Heroes,” “30 Rock,” “Battlestar Galactica” and “Eureka.” Previous seasons and additional shows will be added.

Why anyone would "buy" these the week that they air when there are readily available online is beyond me.

Yeah, it's crazy talk. I would think it would be more useful to add it to streaming services that already have some type of subscription (Netflix, Apple TV, etc). I'm not paying per show to get a broadcast TV show replay.

I'd like the whole Seasons of these shows on Netflix streaming, though.
