No VIZIO only displays what the vertical resolution it is receiving is so 2160 is correct for 4k.

That's all that NBC is sending so far. Should be switching to swimming and then to track and field by Sunday.

I have a Samsung JU7100 which displays HDR content just fine via Amazon and other 4k Bluray players, so I know that the television is not the problem. Channel 146 and 148-1 show 4k just fine, but what is up with HDR? I have read several places on the net that the Olympic content provided, albeit not live, is supposed to be in 4k HDR.

Is anyone seeing HDR on channels 146 or 148-1??

Well, being that the Opening Ceremonies weren't shown on 146, what does that leave for HDR viewing?

Seems that the articles posted around the web are very misleading then....

Nothing... and I hear that NBC had issues so it did not send it out in HDR or ATMOS formats anyways.

Correct...you need to have either a Hopper 3 or a 4K Joey to see any 4K content.

Looked like a regular UCONN game to me... but in 4K.
