NBA 2013 Playoffs

Heat were on fire tonight!

that's what we're used to seeing down here. this isn't lebrons cavs, not even close, but miami gets too relaxed at times and it's very frustrating. if they can get another win tonight they should be able to end it back here.

The team goes as Lebron goes, you know that. That was probably one of the most "dominating" 22 point performances ever.

well he is the leader but to compare the heat to the cavs is an exaggeration. the heat were and are a playoff team without lebron, that's why he came here.....

The 3 years before Lebron got there they didn't make the playoffs in 08, and lost in the 1st round the next 2 seasons.

Of course they'd be a playoff team without Lebron, but a not very good one. Maybe a 6 or 7 seed with a 1st round exit.

again, if this was another version of the cavs as you mentioned earlier why come here? Lebron is the man no doubt but you don't want to give credit to anyone else on the team and i get why you wouldn't. i've already wasted enough time on this subject, it's all yours.

Tuesday's schedule

07-08 season, Wade missed the last 30 games due to injury and Shaq was traded.... Take away a teams 2 best players, one of them being one of the top 3 players in the league and the other, one of the top 10 centers in the league at the time...there is very little chance you make the playoffs. IF Miami of THEN had the bench of NOW, they would be a 4th seed at best...but definitely as good as any 8, 7 or 6th seed this year.

I can agree with that, except Wade ever being a top 3 player. :)- (edit: not saying he wasn't a top 10 player at that time, though)

To me Lebron makes any team a championship contender.

My point in the 1st place was that he was getting killed for the 2 late turnovers in game 2, and I was countering with the Heat would of never been in position to win that game if Lebron hadn't dominated the 1st 46 minutes. I was saying that reminded me of Cleveland. Obviously he has a better supporting cast now, but they're not winning a championship if he plays lousy.

Truth be told. I looked at the boxscore and if the Heat hit their regular season average in FT % of 75%(they shot 69% in the loss), they are 3-0 and they are not even talking about his two TOs.

And when would be considered "lousy"? I mean in the game they said he quit as a Cavs against the Celtics in the playoffs...he had 27pts 19 rebounds and 7 asists.

In the game the Heat just won, he had 22, 4 and 3...and they COMPLETELY dominated the Pacers. Hell, out played them at their very own game. Points in the paint, hussle plays and defense.

I agree that Lebron makes anyone a Championship contender...but only the Lebron of LAST couple of years and beyond. The Lebron of his 1st year in Miami and earlier, is NO WHERE as good as the Lebron we have now. The CURRENT Lebron would ABUSE the Lebron that was in Cleveland.

And finally, D-Wade. When Lebron was in Cleveland, the top 3-4 players in the league...said by many and argued by no one were Lebron, Wade, Kobe and Durrant....and not necesarrily in that order. It depended in what part of the country you were in.

Spurs looking great for the Finals.Duncan has rolled back the clock, and Tony Parker is playing lights out.

Series tied 2-2

To be fair that was a tickey tack foul on Lebron for his 6th.

Good game for Hibbert, bad game for Bosh.

I'm thinking this goes home team chalk the rest of the way and the Heat win in 7.

I would like to see the Pacers win it all since they have never won.

Well, one thing for sure... Pacer fans cannot complain about not getting calls. With all the crap that goes on under the basket, to call THAT foul with the game on the line..?

Joey Crawford ALWAYS wants to be part of the story. And this is the ONLY thing I hate about the NBA, the home team is assured 99% of the calls and the only professional league where you know some of the refs by name.

the officiating was bad against both teams honestly. i'm not going to sit here and put this one on the refs when i know the heat did not play well. both bosh and wade stunk it up PERIOD.

I agree.

Well said Rey,I was shocked when they didn't score the Hansbrough basket claiming the ball never hit the rim, clearly it did.The Heat went on a major roll after that call. However, the foul called on Lebron that gave him his 6th was wrong.

Bosh was never a factor because of foul trouble. Hubert is tough to handle for anyone. Wade has been a turnover machine lately when he is the one handling the ball(when Lebron sits to get his rest). IMHO, he should handle the ball less and have the offense go through Chalmers hands instead of Wade. Offensively, Chalmers has become more reliable than Wade when the need is there.
