NBA 2011-2012 PLAYOFFS

You know, scheduling home games in the playoffs for the LA Lakers,LA Clippers,& the NHL LA Kings has to be a really big challenge especially when they all three play in the Staples Center.

I don't see the Mavericks surviving the first round especially with them in an 0-2 hole. The Thunder has proven to be a VERY good team!

I really didn't see them repeating anyway with how slow they started the year.

Then again I really haven't cared about NBA basketball since the whole lockout crap last year....

Rey, one thing I've learned as a sports fan: "hate" is a synonym for "jealousy". ;)

Enjoy the ride, and don't let the haters, errr green-eyed monsters get to ya. :)

Definetly buddy. I've learned that from you and hart. Bring on the hate! Can't imagine how far it'll go if they win it all.

I agree. LOVE the guy.....by far, my favorite Boston coach/manager that has won a championship the last decade.

The Celtics won the series tonight. Book it!!

Well he's #2 for me ;)

But he has made Paul Pierce in to a hall of famer and more importantly an all-time Celtic.

That was a gutsy win by the C's tonight and I believe the series is now over.

Didn't realize you were such a Claude Julien fan. :p

Touché

But really I do like Doc. He and Belichick both get the most of the talent they have. What Doc did in the 2nd half of this season was truly amazing.

Wednesday's schedule......

Jazz at Spurs- SA leads series 1-0- 7:00pm ET (TNT)
Pacers at Magic- Series tied 1-1- 7:30pm ET (NBA TV)
Clippers at Grizzlies- LA leads series 1-0- 9:30pm ET (TNT)

I remember back in 1976, the Celtics weren't anywhere near being the best team in the league, but Buffalo knocked out the Philadelphia and Washington teams that had given the Celtics fits, and meanwhile, Phoenix beat Golden State, and so Boston won the championship without having to play any of the three best teams in the league.

It's deja vu all over again. A month ago, it looked like the Celtics would be bracketed to play Orlando, featuring Dwight Howard, in the first round, leading to a fully staffed Chicago in the second and Miami in the Conference Finals. Now, they get to maul Atlanta minus Horford in the first round, either Philadelphia or a fatally wounded Chicago in the second round, and who knows, maybe even Indiana in the Conference Finals, though to the Celtics, they may not even have a preference in that series.

England will destroy Italy sunday!! OH YEA!!!
