NBA 2011-2012 PLAYOFFS

I agree with you and he should be suspended.

But David Stern buries his head when it comes to his band of Tim Donagy's. The league is starting to conform to the floppers and embellishers.

BTW, I think the other sports referees are are far superior to the NBA

I agree, and that's where I think the NHL is light years better with the officiating. They actually penalize the "embellishers".

<begin hijack> BTW Hart, the Bruins are done, the Red Sox aren't going anywhere, and let's face it, neither are the Celtics.....when do the Pats report to training camp? I CANNOT WAIT FOR THEM IN 2012 <end hijack>. :D

Clippers will be Clippers by looking at game 1

Why was Rose out on the floor with less than 2 minutes left and the Bulls up comfortably? That was stupid and reckless on the headcoach's part.

They were up 12 with a minute and a half to go, what were the Clippers down with that much time to go?

It's pro sports, you're paid to play 48 or 60 minutes depending on your sport.

i wonder how his play will look like after he recovers from this major injury. he just can't stay healthy. he may never reach those expectations because of his health. i would hate to see that.

It seems to me that he has been over compensating for other injuries that weakened his knee, he has had groin and foot problems. So maybe his knee could of gone at any time.

It's hard to see him being the same player he has been in the past. His game is slashing and driving the lane, I don't know if he will be able to do the same with a reconstructed knee.

Rondo's suspension for game 2 was announced this afternoon. The Celtics can lose games 1 and 2 and still win the series, but it will be tough. The mathematical formula for an underdog winning a series only requires taking one road game, so there is no reason that it cannot be game 5 or 7.

There are PLENTY of floppers and always will be. At the same token, this a league that markets PLAYERS and not TEAMS. The NFL and even NHL markets teams better than the NBA. BUT, star players AT HOME will always get their calls. As soon as they head to Boston, they will get THEIR calls.

Sorry... but that depends on the team. The Sixers are NOT a good 3-point shooting team. Sorry, that is ALL on the coach as far as I am concerned!

The Hawks have been know to show no testicular fortitude all this season and in last years playoffs despite having a very talented team. I, in NO WAY, if the Hawks win think the series is over.

I'm starting to think Big Baby's nickname should be changed to Big Game. The bigger the game, the better he plays. The Howard-less Magic continue to surprise on the road against the Pacers.

Amare, Amare, Amare..... Got all bent out of shape and busted his hand worth some stitches where he could be OUT for the series...idiot!

just when his team needs the most of whatever he has left in the tank, he goes and does something stupid. the knicks gave all they had. you could tell but it wasn't enough. they had to fight for every point they got. that must've been the toughest 30 points for carmelo in a long time. he had 30 points but took about 26 shots. lebron only had 19 but it was all about defense with him last night. the other guys actually stepped it up. wade was his usual self at 25 pts while Bosch had a solid 21 pts.

Tuesday's schedule.......

Celtics at Hawks- Atlanta leads series 1-0- 7:30pm ET (NBA TV)
76ers at Bulls- Chicago leads series 1-0- 8:00pm ET (TNT)
Nuggets at Lakers- LA leads series 1-0- 10:30pm ET (TNT)

England will destroy Italy sunday!! OH YEA!!!
