Nascar not in HD on FOX!

The funny trhis was about the time the race went hd on FOX in Bham, The golf on NBC 13 went sd. Both are back in hd. I guess Bham was running out of hd power.

How is that possible? Providers can only show what is being transmitted. If it is HD through the provider it should also be so OTA.

Sorry, I should have been clearer. I have no OTA signal from the station. I'm too far away. It was HD via Dish satellite signal.

All the Nascar races I've seen so far on FOX have been in HD. Just noticed that the race is in SD today. I just wondered what's going on.
