NASA TV on AMC-3 (C-band) is now offering a 24/7 high-def channel. Currently testing, this channel goes official on Monday. Right now, Video File, This Week at NASA, and Gallery (Apollo Moon landing movies, and a reel of planet/Moon images) are being broadcast in HD, and by Monday, I'm predicting (but don't know) that the ISS Hour will be revamped to HD! (ISS Hour debuts at 11am ET every weekday, and then repeats many times during the day). NASA-HD -- Another reason BUD rules !! AMC-3 (87 degrees west) Horiz 4000MHz 28111 s/r FEC 3/4 720p HD If you already have NASA-TV programmed on AMC-3, just re-scan and the HD channel will come in as HQ5. This is regular QPSK DVB - no need for a more advanced receiver, although you will, of course, need HD. --Gary
