In the latest volley over the FCC’s retransmission consent rules, the NAB told the commission that it should disregard claims by Dish Network of the need for additional “good faith” negotiating requirements since the satellite provider has “a long and sordid history of bending and attempting to bend laws and rules to its advantage.”
NAB’s ex parte filing took issue with a filing by Dish that charged that the “retransmission consent regime is broken” because broadcasters are using consumers “as sacrificial pawns.”
