I have been using an Invacom QPH-031 for a couple of years on a 1m Winegard Dish and an SG-2100 clone motor. I have an 8psk-to-usb genpix adapter, and have finally figured out how to compile and configure MythTV in linux.
Have a Nexus-S 2.3 and a SkyStar2 rev. 2.4 in my closet, and was considering how to use 2 or 3 cards (which MythTV apparently fully supports) in connection with my existing setup, or changing the LNB to some old dusty Dishnet lnbf (were they lnbs or lnbfs?).
Can anyone advise how I can do this and what switches I will need. I am interested in using at least 1 CP and 1 LP ports from the Invacom, and would use both CPs and both LPs if necessary or recommended.
I have access to plenty of cable, so the number of drops is irrelevant other than appearance factor of loose cables (WAF).
Haven't posted here in quite some time. Hope the usual suspects are still around, as they surely got me started in this hobby.
