MyBook won't work on PC after filled from DVR?

Thanks for all the responses. I am just going to buy another Hard Drive it looks like. I was under the impression that I would be able to transfer some of the videos on my DVR to my PC to burn/store.

Is there an easy way for me to burn a fight/movie off my MyBook while it is connected to my DVR, I have a dvd recorder but could never figure out how to burn something that was on my dvr or MyBook.

You would need to use S-video and RCA audio outputs from DVR to stand alone DVD recorder (NOT PC DVD BURNER) and play/record in real time.

Iv'e heard there is software that will alow Linux to be used with windows. Have not found the software yet. I've tranfer encrypted movies from my pocket dish to my computer then back. A lso have some encrypted files burned to DVD. Just like the pocket dish the encypted files can be stored elsewhere and retrieved for playback later.
