I paid $24 overall for the 2 adapters. i would have got a sata but just wanted to use something that worked and was collecting dust.

My fear of these Chinese tuner adapters is there are quite a few reviews detailing a short lifetime for the tuner, constant reboots, lack of proper instructions for setup and other problems.

Just bought a used TiVo Premiere off Ebay with lifetime $179 have much more confidence in this unit.

I currently have 4 HD TiVos 2 lifetime bought for ~$100 each several years ago, other 2 are unsubscribed (@$35 each) but still can work as tuner with pause (30 min buffer) and no guide.

Jim i agree with you tivo is great but i don't have internet at the house. You need internet to have TiVo. When ice was here he gave me the advice on ota pvr's. thats why i bought them.
