Last night when watching the 6:00 news there was a story on 2 small towns that are getting cable soon. While watching it, they showed a nice C-Band dish :)

They had the same story at 10:00 too.

The best part is during the 6:00 news the anchor was saying "Residents currently rely on satellite or antennae to get a television signal." and as he says "satellite" it shows the C-Band dish :D They did show a D* dish at the end. 10:00 news showed more dishes during the article

They make it sound like it is bad to rely on satellite and over-the-air for tv services... !?

I have cable internet, but enjoy having satellite and over-the-air for my tv services. :)

I didnt hear it as a bad thing

Where these two towns are located, your options are satellite (most folks get D* since Mankato locals (well LOCAL) is on there) or put up a crappy antenna and get KEYC & KEYC-DT2 (CBS & FOX) because thats all that the market has:)
