When WAS the last time they won ANYTHING since Villanova?
1983 Sixer is the last professional championship for Philly.
The Soul did win the 2008 Arena Bowl, if you want to count that.
Thought you might like to know, Villanova is not in Philadelphia. Villanova is in Villanova, about fifteen miles west of Philadelphia on the Main Line section of Delaware County, PA.

Hey, the Phils are the better team because even though if we didn't collapse they wouldn't sniff the post season but the bottom line is that they have a game and we don't. I'll give the Phils credit they got some guys with some guts. Rollins, Burrell and Howard.
I worked in sports media for 7 years in Chicago. Most of what I worked with was Chicago Bulls and Chicago White Sox games back then, but I would occassionally worked behind the scenes for Blackhawk games and help some of the on-the-field reports during Bears games for special reports.
Of the crazier/loud/boisterous/diehard fans.....Raiders, Steeler fans can be crazy, but realtively(for them) not TOO BAD. Yankee, Mets, Knicks and Giants(football) fans were more or less the same, a little loud...sometimes rude but ok for the most part, I mean hey...it's New York! LOL! Red Sox, Cardinal, Cubs, White Sox fans were a tad lower on the volume scale. But when it came to THE most obnoxious, irratating, crude, disrespectful and lousy fans(they boo'ed Santa AND pelted him with snowballs for Christ sakes!!
).....Eagles fans rate #1. Flyers fans are not too far behind them with the Jets fans not too far behind those guys for #3. Phillies fans are not too bad as well as 76ers fans.But Philadelphia as a whole, are the most obnoxious fans out there....and that is BEFORE the star-spangled banner. Just wait till the beer is flowing in the 4th quarter, 7th inning or the 3rd period.
