 I'm out here at USMC 29 palms for a couple days. it was 129deg the other day! ac cranking it down to a modest 83.humidity was also 90%+ and my 501 lost all signal. then later on the next day went back to normal. i did all the usual testing even switched dishes/coax/reboot/unplug-ed/puled card/check switch unconnected then connected/tried the 301 on that dish was OK but nothing on the 501. called dish first guy was a idiot he wanted to send a truck out. i said no thanks! :p then called back the next day and they are sending a replacement. as soon as i hung up it was right back to normal even now a day later. the dish is a 500, its getting old with all the moving. screws holding lbn are loose. but it worked for the 301. i will upgrade to the 1000+ and vip211 then a 622 this fall. but any guesses??? and when i called back to cancel they said to late its on the way. so what if i send them my old 7200? i know the rma is tied to thouse receivers but would they care? the guy said he never tried but said he would note the account. (may be i should also explain how i got the 501 it was a referb from dish. i called on a 7200 dead they sent a 501 i called them. they said keep both and well call you if we get a 7200 for you (per advanced enginering) never heard back and i have the dead 7200 to send them still) so I'm thinking sending the old dead 7200. i did buy another 7200 from e-bay its working grate! [by the way tate! my direcway with the old style trans in 129deg heat never missed a beat! full speed! signal during the day did drop some to 78 from a clear night sky in the desert nothing for miles so theres nothing to get in the way trees/signals/smog getting a new record for me of 97+cp99!!!!wonder if i could get 99/99!!! i want a .98m with 2 watts so bad!!!]

the funny thing is they told people to take this plastic thing off there transmiters to keep them cooler. so i thought they had a heating problem. then dw changed to unpainted i think to transmit more heat off. but smaller heat fins.

set up for 101 and 110
