I'm extremely disappointed there was no announcement of an HTC One M9 Max/Plus. 5" and 1080p, that's the same as I had in my HTC Droid DNA from two and a half years ago. I love my HTC One Max, at nearly 6", but it's getting a bit long in the tooth. Rumors had an M9 Plus at either 5.2" or 5.5" inches with a 1440p display, having a smaller phone is unacceptable. I do like the Snapdragon processor in the M9, and I do like they continue with the 32GB on board storage standard + micro SD support. I'm still hopeful for a M9 Plus, hopefully same processor, same amount of RAM, same storage, just an upgraded display and upgraded batter. I can a;ready get well over 24 hours out of the 3300 mAh battery on my One Max under normal circumstances.
I am however impressed with the Sony Xperia Tablet Z4. I will be buying one as soon as they are released in the US. I wish it had a 16:9 display, but expected a 16:10 based on previous history with Sony's tablets, at least it's not 4:3.
