I have a Genie DVR in my living room. I Have older HD (500 I think) DVR in the bedroom.

I have heard that with the Genie receivers there can only be one DVR. True? Is it a technology issue? Th BR DVR is starting to have issues.

If I use an external hard drive, is there a maximum size? ie; 1TB or a 2TB. I have a Western Digital 1TB USB drive that I don’t use anymore.

You can go much larger. I think the limit is 5 TB.

Thats 1 Genie DVR, you can have Multiple Non Genie DVR's.

you can only have one genie dvr on your acct. if you have the HR-54 you can have stand alone non genie dvr's and hd boxes. if you have the HS-17 it's a client only system

The only way to get a second genie is to open up another account and pay twice.
