On May 15, we will replace Mexicanal, a Spanish-language Mexican-based channel currently carried on channel 412, with the higher-rated Multimedios, which will air in the same channel location. Most residential, commercial and MDU customers who subscribe to our Spanish-language packages will be impacted by this change.

The new channel will be included in our Mas Latino, Optimo Mas, Mas Ultra, Lo Maximo, En Espanol and Mexico Plus packages. Mexicanal was not included in the Optimo Mas package, so those customers will gain the new Multimedios channel. However, Multimedios will not be included in Grandfathered Residential Packages, and those customers have been notified via their bill that they will unfortunately lose a channel on May 15.
