multi switch question

Hi,

I just had a receiver added to my setup today, the installer had to change the multi switch to add an out. but now one of the receivers is unable to receive a signal on some channels. I have checked the other receivers, and they are o.k.

I am using existing RG 6 cable wiring to distribute my signal, and until today have not had any problems.

Could the new multi-swich be faulty?

Any advice is appreciated.

How many IRD's do you have and what type of switch did he install?

I had a similar problem and decided it was the Trunkline multiswitch (5x8) that had been working fine for a few years. I bought a new Terk one and no problems anymore.
