Multi-region pal/ntsc dvd player question

Has anyone here ever used one of these (like the Toshiba SD-560sr), basically it will play any dvd and convert it to NTSC. I was thinking about getting one of these and wondered if anyone has one, if so are they any good? do the do what they say they will? Pros & cons? thanks,.
 
Yep, I use the LG DVB-418; PAL/NTSC, region free, it also upconverts 720p & 1080i over component (regardless of what pros say/must be a legal issue) and has built-in multi-format card readers. Along with; DivX, AVI, MP3, WMA, Kodak Picture CD, JPEG, CD, DVD, CD-R, SVCD, CD-RW, DVD+R, DVD-R, DVD+RW, DVD-RW, Video CD.
