mtn feeds fading

a 60e might not work real well because it is smaller but its worth a shot

I also have a couple of DirecWay dishes I picked up for free. I measured them as 39" W x 23" H. (1M x .6M)?, so if the SC doesn't work at least I have something else to try.

those might work. I use to use the exact type for a feed that had some cross interference by an adjacent satellite so the 30" wouldn't work right

Those DirecPC dishes worked better

thanks, I'll see how the SC dish works first.

Hey Iceberg, I've been meaning to ask you about the setup you have listed in your sig, "Wave Frontier Toroidal T90 42x40" dish with LNB's on 72, 74, 79, 83, 85, 89, 91, 97, 101, 103, 107.3, 110, 119" . Do you have a posting about setting that up? I'd like to read about it if you do. My big interest is in how you have all the LNBs wired through switches. I was thinking about doing something similiar, I came up with qty. 4 4x4's feeding into 4 Diseqc swithces. However that setup only supports 8 LNBs.

thanks again

I have a lot of it in the review area. But you have the right idea. 4 4x4 multiswitches into 4 diseqcs

As for the LNB’s 107.3 is for my StarChoice subscription and 110 is for my Dish sub (119 for Dish sub is on a 36” dish with G10)

74, 79, 85, 89, 91, 97 are all duals and run into multiswitches
On one side of a multiswitch is 72 & 119. 72 is plugged into the 13v side and 119 is plugged into the 18v side. Most of the stuff on AMC6 (72) is V and the audio on 119 is mainly on H polarity. Yes it does work

101 & 103 I did the same thing. 101 V and 103 H are into another set of plugs on the multiswitch. I wanted KUIL and most of the feeds on 103 are H but I may change that around.

83 right now is kinda no mans land. It was set up in the switch setup where the 119 is now but there wasn’t much on there.

So setup on multiswitches is
72V/119H on one side, 74 on other (both ports)
79 & 85 on another
89 & 91 on another
97 and 101V /103H on the last

If I can get KUIL with the 103 LNB I’d be happier :D

Oh, cool, I hadn't thought about setting things up that way, but what you describe makes plenty of sense.

My other implementation idea is a little different. I have an EMP Centauri 8x1 Diseqc goto nn switch coming in, which might get me 16 satellite positions. Of course if I wanted to support multiple receivers I'd need several of the goto nn switches.
