MPEG 4 - when do we see HD other than locals

Does anyone know when we will see other HD channels other than locals. I get locals OTA - although now with my HR20 I am waiting for this to be reactivated - and in the meantime I get them via Directv - but am anxiously waiting for other channels - any news. My question of course excludes the sports packs which have HD.

As mentioned in some of the other threads about this; not likely until after DirecTV 10 and DirecTV 11 are launched, fully tested and handed over to DirecTV's control some between late spring and the fall of 2007; you can keep of with some launch info here: http://www.lyngsat.com/launches/2007.html
