Moving from Milwaukee to Detroit

I am considering "moving" from Milwaukee (no HD locals) to Detroit (HD locals/fan of the teams). Not sure if the signal will make it to Milwaukee - I looked on a spotbeam map and the two are in different circles. Any thoughts on this?

Detroit is on 118.75. You need a completely different dish and LNB to get it. PLus you are out of Detroit's spot beam anyway. Never work.

You could do it, but only get HD feeds of the major networks. You would need the Dish 500+ or 1000+ dish, which will run you around $200 to setup - without E*'s help given you are moving. YOu many be able to sub to a international and get that dish, then move, but that is questionable too. The Dish Plus dishes are in short supply.

Why wouldn't you try "moving" to Chicago? If you have a Dish pointed at 129 you are all set.
