Moving EHD between receivers....

In preparation for extensive recording of the upcoming Olympics, I seriously need to add an EHD. *Consensus says WD 750 is the best bet??

I have searched everywhere and only see scattered conflicting answers on moving an EHD between a 622 and a 722. Some say after 3 moves it becomes tethered to the last of the third move. Others say the '3 rule' means it can be moved to ANY of three receivers on the same account as many times as you want.

So, what are the facts about this? I'll pony up for $40 to use an EHD, but have to be 100% convinced this can be moved between a 622 and 722 without restriction.

Can someone shed some light on this with authority?

No more 3 move limit. That's been removed. I have 2 500GB & dumped from my old ViP62 to my nw ViP722 w/no problems. Others report multiple moves among ViP DVRs.

The "household" key feature which allows unlimited moves between receivers in the same account has been enabled for approximately 2 months or so.
