This may have been answered before. I spent about an hour or so looking through past threads trying to make sure i was going to ask the right question and try and not duplicate it.

I live in central PA and have Dish. I am in two beams for local channels. Currently, according to Dish, I am "more in one then another" and am getting local channels for stations\cities that are 70 miles north of me (Wilkes-Barre\Scranton). I live closer to Harrisburg which is about 30 miles south. 8 Miles to the west Dtv\Dish customers get Harrisburg stations which are what I want. I confirmed the local channels there as i know a few people that live that way.

I have seen in other posts that you can move your "Service" address to another one to get the local channels you want, then just deny the service appointment. I have a family members address i can use. And it looks\sounds like its fairly easy to do. What I didn't see is that if this also changes where your paper bill would go to? I have tried to get OTA channels but I am to far away and in the mountains.

Would someone be able to confirm and answer? And let me know if i am totally wrong or not. thanks.

Perfect. I called and talk to someone about it last night, the person on the phone didn't seem like they wanted to answer my questions. Figured they knew what i was wanting to do.

Do it in a chat... Just tell them that you have moved the service address and you have already set up your equipment and have a picture on the TV, you just need your proper locals (Harrisburg). Tell them that you need to keep the same billing address.

I think also when you get promotional offers such as prepaid cards and the likes it will be sent to your service address. So if you "move" it you'll have problems with that.
