This doesn't make sense as Atlanta is listed as one of the nationwide locals but when you do an Atlanta address on the Dish website it now has an asterisk by all the Atlanta stations when it used to only have the asterisk by a few of them. The asterisk signifies you need another dish to see these channels. Are they moving all the channels to 61.5?

Maybe the nationwide locals are going away. Perhaps Atlanta locals are going over to 61.5. That opens up a tranponder or two in the CONUS.

Must be having problems because if you click on the local links, it shows they are still on 110. Also, if you "Order Online" using an Atlanta zip, when you get to the locals page, they correctly show the asterisks.

Also, if you use a Dallas zip, the only wing channel has been completely taken off the list.

Well, guess I'll be headed up to my roof to actually hook up a 61.5 dish then
Never hooked it up, because I saw no need.
Out of the 3 local Atlanta channels on 61.5:
17 WTBS - exact same thing as TBS on 119, except commercials are more localized
30 WPBA - Atlanta PBS channels sucks, much prefer GPTV 8 instead
34 WUVG - Univision - No Hablo Espanol

Course being on 61.5 does have one advantage, no worries about Spot Beam Footprint :smug

Need advice - # of co-ax from dish?

please give me the straight story.
