Just did a comparison between my satellite receivers at SES-1 CBAND 101W with the new and popular channel MOVIES!
Here are my results.

Nope, I'm not saying 6 ft is necessarily an issue, but I have to wonder just WHY you can't get MEtv on the MicroHD as a lot of us are watching it. What firmware is your MicroHd running? Let's try to narrow this down instead of just saying there's a global problem with the MicroHD.
I had a 6 ft dish, and could NOT keep MEtv up and running (with my MicroHD, but it DID scan in fine and work the first time) I swapped to the 10 footer, and now no problem with it 100% of the time. The issue back then (last September) was finally figured out to be that there is/was (not sure if still a problem for 6 footers) a strong sports transponder on an adjacent sat that fires up periodically, and overwhelms MEtv. The 6ft dish scans so wide a field, that the sports transponder wiped out MEtv.
Please don't think I'm just being blindly "protective" of the MicroHD, because I am not. It is at present my primary receiver, but it does have a few quirks that annoy me to no end. That being said, it does an excellent job 97% of the time with what I need done. It's still a work in progress. I am a technician, and like to figure out issues and fix them. The more info we have, the easier that is to accomplish..
MeTv comes in fine on my microhd..

Sorry, my eyes must be dyslexic tonight. I watched your video and thought you were scanning in MEtv first and not getting video.
Brian figured out that the MicroHD's tuner was scanning slightly wider than it should and that Me and Movies! were too close in frequency. That caused the parameters for Movies! to update to the same as Metv, making it go black. He's planning on modifying the firmware to fix any further issues due to that. I fixed mine by changing the sid for Movies!
