Mount joey behind TV?

The joey's remote is RF? What about the Hopper's remote RF as well? I hope so, do I have to ask for Rf remotes when I order my hopper/joey setup or do they just come with RF remotes

it's the same remote for both hopper and joey. They use RF to communicate with the hopper and joey. They use IR when programmed for the TV, DVD, and Aux.

And you can use IR only remotes to control everything, H & J included.

I have a Verizon Home Phone Connect that is about the same size as a Joey. I mounted it with sticky back Velcro about a year ago.
It has stayed in place until about two weeks ago when the heat got to it and it dropped of its perch. We say temps in excess of 110'.

I zip-tied mine behind my plasma on the mount.. hehe.. works fine even with IR harmony remote.
