Motorized System Level 76% Quality 0%

Following Satelliteguys tips from my 79.66º longitude location I directed my 33" dish toward AMC-5 at 79º. I get Level 76% but Quality 0%. I spend few hours with no luck. I double checked AZ and EL few times for the dish and EL for the motor is my Latitude. Any suggestions will be highly appreciated. Thanks

Let us know what type of LNB you have and what L.O. you are using.

Those will also work with the right Symbol rate.

Are you using a motor (What type) right now? Give us as much detail as possible, receiver brand and again the LNBF type and L.O.
maybe a zip code and the angles you are using.

Most of us here started without a motor and got familiar with the system and added the motor later. Thats always an option too!

My stationary Dish works OK. I got the signal within 2 hours. Thats what inspired me to buy the motor. Its been 7 days no luck. Here is the details:

Symbol rate :11110 , I am confused about the symbol rate, I get frequency from LyngSat where do I get the symbol rate or how to calculate?

You get the SR from lyngsat.

The above link will show you where the SR is, then use the TP. I gave you above and you will see where the SR is on Lyngsat charts.

Dish, the HH90 should be set at your Lat.

38.4 is the dish elevation and AMC 5 should be at 192 degrees for you..

No it's not!

38.4º is the Dish elevation, the motor should be set at the same angle as his Latitude. (43.58º)

Are you positive the LNB is a standard and not a universal? Let us know what if anything it says on the LNB, any numbers......

Just seen that you said the dish/satellite and LNB all work on a fixed dish. So its going to have to be your angles. Can you post any pictures?

My angle is 190º/192º. LNB is SAT RADAR. LO FREQ 10750. In the Pansat menu I select Standard. They have universal option for 9750 to 10750. I am trying to install it in South which is 180º + Magnetic Deviation 11.6º. My final goal is to get Telstar 10, 76.5º E for some Asian channels. I have a 18" fixed dish with standard LNB and I am getting 119ºW and 110ºW without any issues. thanks Gentlemen for your help.

Sorry to tell you that you will NEVER get Telstar 10 @ 76.5º E from this country

For KU I am trying using the 33" Dish. 18" was an example of my existing old stationary dish. My motorized one is 33". I am trying to get AMC5 79ºW
