motorized questions

Im using a sg2100.
1. Does the motor point true south or just eyeball south?
2. Can you install a light inline with the cable so it lights up when it moves... if so how much? im thinking a Backup light bulb
3. When I blind scan after I hit something (coolsat 6000) the motor moves.. however I dont want it too
4. What is true south satellite for 61401?

1. until the motor is actually aimed at true south and set up, it doesn't aim at anything
2. huh?
3. the receiver moves to the satellite that the first channel was scanned in. So if you scan 72,74,79 once its done it goes to 72 as that satellite has the 1st channel.
