I also have a SG2100 motor and just this morning I was watching TV and all of a sudden I got a "no signal" message then a message "there is a short between the receiver and LNB. Please correct this and turn the machine back on."
I am using the motor with a CW700S receiver and Invacom Quad LNB.
I disconnected the motor and hooked directly to the DiseQc switch to the Invacom LNB and everything works fine and the dish never moved off the satellite.
It is my belief that the motor is dead.
