Motor off a little from 0 position

Pardon moi if I don't understand what all you are attempting here...I don't know jack about Prog Anything but would strongly recommend you attempt to get your setup tracking the arc with an STB before you try to go with your PC-based receiver/software. If you have already done that...never mind. ;)

Just too much of a learning curve there with the computer-based hardware and apps, too many variables to fight IMO.

I haven't seeing my microHD is still not working correctly because I would rather be using it to control the motor

Maybe next week I will have a working microHd for motor control will try to get the motor set to true south sometime this week

Have a working microHd so just to clarify I aim the motor and tube at 180 on the compass and then move the dish to 97w with the receiver and tweak from there
