Just curious what is the most important satellite that holds the HD channels currently as well what satellite is most important for future use of Directs HD channels?
Thanks
That depends on which channels you watch. 110 has the most national hd channels for now. Soon, either D10 or D11 will. The Spaceway sats have the hd locals and hd rsn's, so if those channels are the ones you want, then I guess they are the most important sats.
Hmm sorry very new to most of the Directv stuff but not satellite itself. I read there are new sats coming which will hold the new HD channels. i am assuming thats what you meant by D10/11? Where will they be located?
to make things short I just wonder where the most HD channels will be located? Thats most important to me.
Thanks, so I guess all the rest is located on the other satellites. When I set up the dish with receiver I should get signal on all the satellites?
Maybe, it depends on what is being sent to you via spotbeam.
You should get the 101, 110, 119 those are the original ones, the new ones that raoul5788 was talking about will be at the 99 and 103 * slots.
Many time you will not get a signal on either the 99 or 103, usually on one of them though, sometimes on both all depends on where your located.
Jimbo
Hmmm interesting, depends where I am. I am on the west coast. Northwest to be more exact.
I guess I will just do the test. And I won't know until its actually activated. That seems a bit weird in terms if whether the dish is aligned correctly?
But thanks for the info. I learn more and more about Directv.
