cards are $20 from directv. but if you plan on buying straight from them then your looking at new card with the receiver anyway just with a lease. if you get a receiver from ebay without a card or a bad card for that matter then you would just have to pay the extra $20 for a card. just make sure that the Receiver id is wiped clean from former or existing accounts.
