I have navigated to the mosaic thru the sochi app to HOPview to watch now...
I get a grey screen with dish in large red letters and a spinning icon...
I also tried direct to channel 100... same results...
no mosaic...
I performed an hard reset (unplug/replug power)... same results...
no mosaic...
what to try now?

I have the hopper 2k and it does not work for me either directly through channel 100 or through the apps. My other apps work fine. I also have tried the red button and unplug reset. Others have it working my question is what could cause it to work on some but not others. What factors go into this?
In the past, Universal Sports did a recap. That was before Comcast bought NBC, and Versus still existed. So who knows what this Olympic will bring.
It's in free preview. Still in 250. I know, that's what's keeping me with the 250 pack as well.
An uplink report, a post from DIRT, and Dish's own website indicated it is now in Top 200.
I wasn't the loading circle just spun. Then, based on a suggestion in another thread I unplugged the OTA dongle restated and it works. I have no idea what the relationship between the two are.
It didn't work for me last night but did today. My wife asked what channel the olympics were on and I directed her to the channel. She found something on one of them and selected it to jump right to it. Pretty cool.

I have...
A) Hopper w/sling + OTA + LAN... this is primary house hopper and system internet source
B) Hopper w/USB sling
C&D) 2 Joeys
A) Hopper w/sling + OTA + LAN, Sochi mosaic stuck at load/buffer...
B) Hopper w/USB sling has no problem with Sochi mosaic...
C&D) Joeys networked to A, Sochi mosaic stuck at load/buffer...
C&D) Joeys re-networked to B, have no problem with Sochi mosaic...
A) Unplugged OTA and hard reboot (unplug), Sochi mosaic loads and works properly...
A) while Sochi mosaic on screen,
re-connect OTA,
several seconds pass,
screen shows 'found new device' and 'must reboot to activate new device',
red button reboot,
Sochi mosaic back to stuck on load/buffer...
At least on my Hopper w/sling + OTA + LAN, the OTA seems to be the block on the Sochi Mosaic.
Perhaps the tuner for the OTA is needed for the 'Multi-tuner" of the Sochi app?

I unplugged the Hopper (no OTA module installed) to see if it would reset and release the channels on 100 but the channels remain locked?
I had this problem with the Locked channels. It's because the Mosaic is drawing content from your SD channels, and if you have the SD versions of those channels locked in the Parental Controls, you'll see this. You need to unlock the SD versions of those channels. When you do click one of those channels, it will tune the HD version, so that's good.
Reinstalled the OTA dongle and the mosaic app immediately stopped working, the circle just spins and never loads the app.
