Hackers steal US gov., company data from PCs - Security - MSNBC.com
Hackers stole information from the U.S. Department of Transportation and several U.S. corporations by seducing employees with fake job listings on ads and e-mail, a computer security firm said on Monday.

The list of victims included several companies known for providing security services to government agencies.

They include consulting firm Booz Allen, computer services company Unisys Corp., computer maker Hewlett-Packard Co. and satellite network provider Hughes Network Systems, a unit of Hughes Communications Inc., said Mel Morris, chief executive of British Internet security provider Prevx Ltd.

That is why the office is not a place to have open internet access in and definitely no access to outside email nor access to job search sites, I like the restrictions that my company has on net access and email wich limits it to intercompany and partner email and company websites with the only exception being weather.com. The user also gets a weekly report of their net usage and email usage wich is also sent off to the department head.
