MOCA, Ethernet Or 802.11 AC WIFI Which Is Better?

I was thinking if DTV's next system goes to a headless gateway which way would be better for the 4k Clients to connect to the Headless Gateway? I wonder if AT&T will recommend one way for the two to connect to each other? Say if you had the Headless Gateway next to a 4k client box would DTV recommend using Ethernet to the 4k client or would they want to use a coax splitter?

Given that the current Genie wireless mini system works off of MoCA flawlessly (and, by definition, off of the customer's wifi network), I hope that they continue down the MoCA path, perhaps simply expanding the system's bandwidth instead of approaching the customer's wifi network.

They use both ethernet and Moca today because not everyone has one or the other. Dropping one of them wouldn't make any sense. As for which one is better, that would be the one for which you actually have physical wires. Moca is completely useless if you have no coax. Same goes for ethernet where you have no cat5/6. I would be in deep trouble if my devices couldn't handle both methods.
