Samsung is trying to steal corporate customers from RIM using its just introduced Galaxy S II
Samsung working with Sybase and Cisco to make Galaxy S II enterprise-friendly -- Engadget

Cisco has a very mixed strategy in the mobile sector.
On one hand, they actually owned the iPhone (from the Linksys acquisition) and iOS trademarks before Apple started using them.
On the other hand their Cius 7" tablet is based on Android 2.2 and costs about twice as much as the iPad.
From discussions on Cisco boards, the proper implementation requires kernel modifications that Apple won't allow.

Rumor that they will release an Android IPSec/AnyConnect app has been around forever but nothing materialized.
You can work around using Android's L2TP/IPSec capabilities, but it's quite labor intensive...

This time, with Samsung's new Galaxy and Sybase help, it looks like they are trying to establish a new corporate business platform.
It might be a good companion to the Cius tablet...
