Hello All,
I hope I have this in the right forum. Apologies if not; I'm new here. :)

I have recently moved to Nairobi from the UK and I am trying to improve my cellular 'broad band' reception.

Plan is to use a cantenna. The bit I am stuck on is.. how should I attach the coaxial from the cantenna to the cellular broadband dongle? (there is no port, so official pigtails are not an option)

I have opened the dongle up and had a gander, the ariel is a separate component that connects to the end of the dongle circuit board. It appears to be a straight forward connection, with a single contact on the ariel making contact with the circuit-board.

But the coaxial cable has two parts to it right? How do I attach the two parts of the coaxial to what appears to be the single contact in the dongle?

I could post photos if this would help?

Hope you guys can help.

Many Thanks,
Al
