Retransmission Agreements

DirecTV doesn't have HD Locals.. So Don't know if they have a deal there or not. I have heard that that had them all lined up back in 2006 when they originaly said they were going to lite up the HD locals. But it aparently has something to do with the change of ownership at channel 15.. Dish was set up under the old owners, but the new owners seem to be holding out.

Since agreement was only reached on Monday between LIN- TV and Directv, which would cover WALA, Channel 10, and WBPG, Channel 55, perhaps this was the hold- out you are referring to. I have never heard anyone mention that channel 15, WPMI, was also a problem, and I hope such is not the case!

WALA was on there from day one of the HD locals launch. WBPG won't have an HD signal available till February. WPMI is the missing one.
