True, if people like them get in, it would make it easier for him.
 
Innocent till proven guilty. Steroids weren't even against the rules when these guys allegedly took them. Steroids don't help you put the bat on the ball, they just make balls go farther. Seriously, does McGuire really belong in the HOF anyway? One dimensional player in my book. All he did was hit HR's. If he's in, why not Maris? Bond's numbers on the other hand are phenominal. Steroids may have inflated his HR numbers, but couldn't have helped the other stat's. As for Rose, well I've given my opinions on him already.

Steroids were against the law...does not matter what Baseballs rules were it was a controlled substance, used illegally, and not administered by a doctor.

I am sick of being a Braves fan, they don't retain good players any more, it seems like every season they have a new team with the exception of Chipper Jones, Andruw Jones and John Smoltz. I am sure they'll be gone before long too.

I need a new team to root for, anybody got any suggestions? :confused:

McGwire; 583 HR
Maris; 275
not taking anything away from maris
500 HR like 3,000 hit is a go to hall of fame free card
i agree with you on the rest Paul, except dont know what you said about Rose
dont like Bonds at all, comes off a jerk, but damn, he can play

Yeah, that makes me feel a little better...JK ;)

But you can feel good about this.. Tim Hudson was pretty good with the A's, he has since been a complete bust with the Braves. It is looking like he has "Steve Avery syndrome", that is, he started off his career young and strong with tons of potential only to burn out after 5 years.
