Don't use Tunein.com. go directly to the WFAN website or it probably won't work.good to know , that rule is gone, i that had be recently change because last year WFAN was going to the CBS Sports Network everytime there was a game on
The website blocks it.Don't use Tunein.com. go directly to the WFAN website or it probably won't work.
It's the usual local black out rules. You can't stream games. But you can listen on SXM.Don, I'm not entirely sure what you mean. I also wouldn't be surprised if your ability to stream is based on your location. Here in New Mexico Tunein doesn't work with this station. It sends me to ESPN radio. Going to https://www.audacy.com/wfan works by pressing the listen button. I've extracted the direct link from the code as well to play in VLC or a similar media player or WiFi radio etc. Here is the direct link if anyone wants to try it; https://18123.live.streamtheworld.com/WFANAMAAC_SC. And unless you have the SXM All Access (I only have Select) you wont get MLB anymore.
A little more on VLC for those that are interested. Open VLC, click Media, then Open Network Stream and paste this in the network URL field. https://18123.live.streamtheworld.com/WFANAMAAC_SC then click play. Let me know if you have any questions.
OK, that makes sense. You might try the VLC method I discussed above. Being a direct stream in might not geo-locate like the browser does. It's the usual local black out rules. You can't stream games. But you can listen on SXM.
