Is Ion in SD or HD?

If it is HD, don't get your hopes up that more subchannels will be added (although it certainly wouldn't be unprecedented). I assume that CBS is 1080i.

SD for ion, laff is on 15.3, escape is 15.3. Only 15.1 is hd.

Anything they add to the RF channel will subtract quality from everything already there. There are stations with more subchannels but they suffer pretty horribly.

If memory serves, the record is one HD and seven SD channels on a single carrier.

Ion is popular with families that don't wan't to worry about what they might be exposed to.

Or 13 SD channels. I believe KMJC/WROB/KCKS has 12.

Ion used to be good but I only watch CSI, I rather watch pbs, or h&i for black sheep squadron.

Yes those are low power stations and 3 of channels on them Justice Network is to be gone because KCWE 29.2 and Antenna TV 4.2 and This TV 4.3 that hasen't shown back on the 4 Cable systems in KC area and Mediacom doesn't count. Comcast/CCI/Sudderlink don't carry about KPXE ones. Would like KUKC to add some.
