Evers ince the server upgrade I getr a message about a message anout a mismatch with certificates on the site. It says that the certificate says it belongs to mail.satellliteguys.us when the site is named satelliteguys.us.

Nit the end of the world. but I thought I should report it.

Sorry Chief, not quite sure what you are talking about.

I did register a SSL certificate for the site the other day for the domain satelliteguys.us (since all the services come off the main IP) but I got this more Cpanel security and for pub members to use webmail then anything else.

The problem is when I access the site not use the email---I never got that to work. Every few minutes Is eea pop up telling me that tehre isa domain name mismatch between the certificate the forums wants and the name of the site. Not sure I can say it any other way.

the http. It did not happen till the server change. I am apparently the one it is happening to.

May want to check the content advisor on your PC (Internet Explorer) I have run across cases where that could cause the problem you are describing.

I do not use IE. I use Firefox and have not had the problem elsewhere only here since the server upgrade.

Now I cant stop the notices even when I hit cancel. Am i the only one getting this?

I am using Firefox as well and have not seen this. You are the only one reporting this issue.

The browser should not be trying to grab a secure page if you are going to http://www.satelliteguys.us thats whats confusing.

I will purchase another SSL certificate today for www.satelliteguys.us and see if that eliminates the problem

In my settings under Tools / Options / Advanced
I have Use SSL 2.0 and SSL 3.0 checked TLS 1.0 is unchecked.

Under validation I have no CRL's listed and have OSCP set to Do not use OCSP for certificate validation. Check your settings and see what you have.

Right... firefox as well... not seeing any indication of secure from http... https is another story but not a problem...

I will live with it if it only affects me. Not surre what is wrong. Could be at my end.

I am not ssure if this is related but I had the JAvaByte Verify virus which I just removed. PLEASE check the server.

Cleaning the virus did not change things. So I doubt that I was infecting your server---which I was afraid if fora second. I will try reinstalling Firefox (all sttings match those mentioned) and possibly look at my thunderbird email client as well.

I am convinced that the problem is at my end though.

Our server is protected by ClamAV and its definitions are updated twice a day.

You may have something with the Thunderbird Email client, maybe thats trying to check mail via a secure connection.

When I find out I will report back. It never happens until after i use the browser but I won't discount anything just yet.

I deleted the satelliteguys account and the problem went away.

Since I never got the acount to work I think I may takea pass on that.
