Cool a good blind scanning test is 99w Cband. There are several low SR mexican local channels on that bird. There are several 1562 and 3125 SR channels. I would be impressed if it will blind scan all of them. I don't have a receiver that will and I have a 13' dish with a powerful signal. I am lucky to scan in one of them.

Here are some receiver testing comparison for 113w - SatMex 5. http://www.satelliteguys.us/free-air-fta-discussion/277770-results-blind-scan-satmex6-satmex5-c.html

Will test 99w and will post results tomorrow. Anyone want to Blind Scan 99w with another S2 receiver and post logged TPs and channel counts?

what would be really interesting would be to see side by side scans off the same dish at the same time.
without doing that there are too many variables to make an accurate comparison such as, position in the footprint of the satellite, accuracy of the dish's pointing, dish size and quality, lnb quality, temporary feeds, cable quality and length, wiring setup (switches, splitters, diplexers, and the like), weather conditions (in the upper atmosphere as well), and many others.

I can offer data for 91W cband this morning. My dish is a 10' Winegard using an eagle aspen bandstacked lnb and my dish is off a little and it is raining. I am using an Openbox S10 receiver.
Transponders: 21
TV channels: 128
Music Channels: 55

OK I just tweaked my dish a little so it is very close now and I got:
Transponders: 25 (14H 11V)
TV Channels: 154
Music Channels: 55

It is cold and raining out. 47 degrees
