Hey Little Buddies, Three TV Classics Return to the Small Screen: 'Gilligan's Island,' 'The Love Boat,' and the Steve McQueen Western 'Wanted: Dead or Alive' TVWeek
Three classic TV shows are returning to the small screen next month: "Gilligan's Island," "The Love Boat," and "Wanted: Dead or Alive," starring Steve McQueen.
All of the shows will be returning on Me-TV, the Memorable Entertainment Television digital network from Weigel Broadcasting that's primarily distributed on TV stations' subchannels.
Me-TV made the announcement of its fall schedule--which starts Monday, Sept. 2, 2013--during its airing of "Night Gallery" last night, Thursday, Aug. 8, 2013. It also posted the announcement on its Facebook page.

Joining the Me-TV schedule for their maiden voyage on the network are two seaworthy series: ‘Gilligan’s Island’ and ‘The Love Boat.’ Other brand new shows to the ‘Fall for Me’ schedule, as well as the Me-TV library, include ‘F Troop,’ ‘Wanted: Dead or Alive,’ starring Steve McQueen and beginning in November, ‘The Alfred Hitchcock Hour’ joins the Sunday Night Noir line up.
Returning to Me-TV this fall are ‘I Love Lucy,’ ‘Cannon,’ ‘The Untouchables,’ ‘Rawhide,’ ‘The Twilight Zone,’ ‘Taxi,’ ‘The Bob Newhart Show,’ ‘Remington Steele,’ ‘The Streets of San Francisco,’ ‘The Rockford Files,’ and ‘Hogan’s Heroes.’
Furthermore, the annoucement has this statement from Neal Sabin, president of content and networks for Weigel:
“This fall’s Me-TV schedule has more than 60 different classic TV programs every week. No other network has as much variety or as many of the most beloved series of all time. ‘Gilligan’s Island’ and ‘The Love Boat’ are two of the most requested series from Me-TV viewers of all ages. We are happy they will both be part of our schedule this fall.”
