Wanted to know if their was a way to update the Media Share software for my HR-21? Does the regular updates for the receiver include updates for Media Share or are they separate? Also, what is the latest update release for the HR-21?

Media Share software in the receiver is part of the base software, not a seperate component that can be updates on it's own. The old software lever was 0x0312 but a new release 0x34C is currently being rolled out, if you don't have it already it should show up very soon. If you don't have 34C yet you can try forcing a download, do a reset of the receiver via the setup menu and when you get the very first screen when the box starts to reboot enter 0 2 4 6 8 on the remote and no other keys, just those 5 numbers, the box should do a forced software download.
