Media-General Stations Adding Ion in Some Markets

Nope, they have the national feed. Any station that Media General launches ion on already has the national feed on cable and satellite outlets.
I guess you didnt see my posts on it already ;)
(post 140)

They can but unless Media General is going to insert local commercials (or have other programming) its a moot point
WZPX is not carried in HD on Comcast in Lansing and the only difference would be the ID at the top of the hour

WZPX is carried on channel 6 on cable in Lansing

Terre Haute is unique as its really the 1st sub added there.

There are only 3 stations in the market (there are a couple PBS stations that **could** get picked up with a badass OTA antenna but for sake of argument there is no PBS there) and 2 are owned by nexstar (WTWO 2 NBC AND WAWV 38 ABC). So Media General has WTHI 10-1 CBS, 10-2 FOX and 10-3 Ion now

Forgot to add I seen on Rabbitears the bunch of translators from KASA and WSPA on there.....
correct. But for affiliate purposes they really aren't counted as they are translators. Most of New Mexico is the Albuquerque market so they rely on translators (Minneapolis market is same way)

Whats interesting is when Decades launched they said "16 stations in 14 markets". Minneapolis has 2 CBS satellite stations (KCCO & KCCW...a satellite station is a full power station that rebroadcasts another full power station) so we were the "oddball" ;)

23 Stations have either ion already (and or the soon next to it)
11 are left (Harrisonburg Pa, Myrtle Beach SC, Savannah GA, Johnson City TN, Charleston SC, Jackson MS, Columbus GA, Topeka Kansas, Hays Kansas, Northeastern South Dakota, and Goodland Kansas)

Only one has 3 channels already (WJTV Jackson). How that pans out who knows.....My antenna tv is on a different channel......

Hays and Goodland are part of the Topeka market so its one market
The 2 stations in NE South Dakota (KDLO, KPLO) are part of the Sioux Falls market

so technically its approx 8 that possibly could add it

Yeah I know. So many translators feed off one major station. Seems we had this type of conversation about Hubbard with their 48 stations (including 34 translators which feed off KOB out of Alburquerque).

now that leaves WTEN Albany as the last station to not have a Live Well replacement yet (there is an Ion O&O in the market)
I messed that up, sorry it's actually 3 with the Knoxville and Nashville too that have the Ion O&O (these two already have replacement programming with Laff going to WATE and Me shifting from the LP to WKRN). I guess the rest will have GetTV (along with ION on the .3) once the agreement is made between Sony Pictures and Media General.
