Me TV looks like they added an affiliate....and for those with a dish elsewhere this may help
KDEV-LP added it. They are in the AnikF3 mux (118.7 3920 H 18447)...its delayed 2 hours but hey whatever works
nah its probably just an error on the metv site...

Now maybe KSTP can figure out a short cut but I think the metv site meant KSTP.
All those cities are within the DMA, except Mankato which receives ABC from KSTP anyway. If you put in Bishop, California it gives you KDOC since Bishop is in the Los Angeles DMA even though it's 200 miles from Los Angeles and doesn't have any chance of receiving KDOC.Heck you put in a zip for Minneapolis, Mankato, Worthington, Bemidji and it says KSAX on all of them.
I later was channel surfing without rescanning the channels first and found a new channel at 20.5. HUH? But it is MeTV, and there is no channel listed locally at 20.anything. 7.1 is KAZT (ind), 7.2 is KZAT (RTV). And according to Titan 7.3 is KAZT (Me) so I will assume that the county is testing the reception and will later add it to the KAZT lineup.
wouldnt be the 1st typo I've seen on the metv siteThat'd be one heck of a typo.
But KRWF in Redwood Falls is a satellite too (mainly of KSAX) and that has nothing about it. I do hope they put it on 5-2 and scrap those "reruns of old newscasts"I suspect they're going carry it on KSAX 42-1 (with ABC on 42-2) to get satellite carriage. They will then probably stick it on one of the other signals (either KSTC 45-3 or KSTP 5-2 or 5-3) in Minneapolis.
Worthington is in the Sioux Falls DMA and Mankato couldnt get that station anyways. Satellite providers can only import the Big 4 nets if needed. Dish has ABC & NBC from Minneapolis. Directv has Fox too because they have had locals before KEYC-DT2 was launched. Both have the national PBS and the "national" CW (WPIX on Dish, DC CW on Directv)All those cities are within the DMA, except Mankato which receives ABC from KSTP anyway. You don't need two primary signals for satellite carriage. Plus, in the Champaign market they have WRSP but not simulcaster WCCU listed, even though both should be carrying it when it launches. But KRWF in Redwood Falls is a satellite too (mainly of KSAX) and that has nothing about it. I do hope they put it on 5-2 and scrap those "reruns of old newscasts"
Forgot about that one.Worthington is in the Sioux Falls DMA
Yes it does. KSTP is translated by K30FN-D. RabbitEars.Infoand Mankato couldnt get that station anyways.
I just sent off an e-mail to my contact at KSTP, so if he gets back to me, we'll have an answer soon enough.I still think its suppose to be KSTP
I'm fully aware of thatYou don't need two primary signals for satellite carriage.
god I hope so. 5-2 is honestly useless. They rarely have anything live on it outside of a radar loop. I know I just love turning on the TV at 10:30 in the morning and seeing the 6:00AM rebroadcastI heard they were planning to split the schedule on 5-2 from the schedule they're carrying on the MH channel, so they might very well be thinking of putting it on 5-2.
living in the SW burbs of Minneapolis I do know that. I've got a VHF only antenna specifically for KEYC & KEYC-DT2. As for K30 the issue is that translator (the Goodahl tower) Mankato is on the fringe of it so folks would need a huge antenna to get it. Plus I was referring to folks who have satellite or cableYes it does. KSTP is translated by K30FN-D.
And the Minneapolis DMA surrounds Mankato as a result.
hoping they say 5-2 or maybe even 45-3. Just hope they put it in 4:3 as it is shown and not a 4:3 pic in a 16:9 screen so you have black bar hell 24/7 on it like we do on 45-2 (thisTV)I just sent off an e-mail to my contact at KSTP, so if he gets back to me, we'll have an answer soon enough.

You were correct, it IS now on 7.3, in the living-room, but no sign of it (yet) in the bedroom. My contact in Phoenix tells me that MeTV was added without PSIP, but that PSIP may now be available. Since the translators copy the main stream 100%, what appeared as 36-5 in Phoenix due to lack of PSIP would be 20-5 in your area. Try again and you may find it on 7-3.- Trip
One thing I have noticed though, there seem to be different programs on Sat MeTV and 7.3, interesting.
