i live in ohio just south of columbus and my local teams in mlb are the reds, indians, and pirates. i subscribe to the multisport pack mainly for the nba network and so i can see the pirates on fsn pitts.

i set my pg up to also include masn becuase i used to be a montreal expos fan and still follow the nats through the pre and post game shows.

did anyone else notice the orioles last night if you are out of there viewing area? i noticed that there replay game against the blue jays was not blacked out. is this something because of where i live or is it a dish error or is it just something that netowrk does different? im blacked out of all other replays unless i can also get the nats.

Doesn't Directv show all of the replay games (on there sports pack) or did I dream I read that somewhere? lol

I don't think so. At least nobody I know with DirecTV has ever made mention of that to me. The one notable difference I know of, though, is that apparently DirecTV does allow you to watch all of the Spring Training games (without blackout). At least that's what a friend of mine said.

As for MASN, I have heard they are clear with replays. My brother is in the Braves territory in northern Georgia and with the Multi-Sport pack, he often watches the Orioles replays. Of course, that doesn't really apply to me or crimpshine because we are both near the Charlotte area (where both the Nationals and Orioles are viewable - along with the Braves and Reds). And, speaking of which, I was unable to get any of the Bobcats games last year. According to the Wikipedia article for the Charlotte Bobcats, FSN South or Sportsouth will be airing at least 70 of their games. Am I correct in thinking these will show up on the alternate sports feeds similar to the Hurricanes broadcasts?

Replays are supposed to be blacked out within the current year ("classic" games are not). However, sometimes someone is asleep at the switch.

Also, some teams edit their games down to a one-hour slot. These are not blacked out. DISH/DirecTV has nothing to do with it, MLB's rules.

DISH blacks out all the classic games. At least the one's I have noticed in the guide are balcked out.

Right. I was going to watch a classic Twins game on FSN North a few nights ago and it was blacked out. :(

Mississippi PBS in the Memphis Area (I live in North Mississippi)

Lots of "Off Air" channels tonight.
